ABOUT THE ORGANISERS

The inaugural E-Cigarette Summit was held at the Royal Society, London, in November 2013 and came at a critical point in history when both public health experts and regulators were negotiation the TPD (European Tobacco Products Directive) and grappling to understand a consumer driven product that was on an unprecedented growth trajectory. The event was oversubscribed and welcomed almost 300 delegates across health, scientific and policy communities and is widely accepted as having been one of the most influential public health meetings on e-cigarettes, that both improved the quality and the scope of the debate.

Now moving in to its 10th year in the UK and 7th year in Washington D.C, The E-Cigarette Summit has gained an unrivalled reputation as a neutral meeting point for scientists, regulators, industry, public health and practitioners to explore the latest research on e-cigarettes and facilitate respectful debate on what remain highly controversial issues. The aim will always be to ensure that disparate views can be explored in context of a common aim, which is to reduce smoking related death and disease.

We have maintained a commitment to only invite scientists and researchers who are not in receipt of tobacco industry funding, either directly or indirectly, to present.

A copy of the presentations from previous events can be found on the Video Archive page.
